DESCRIPTION:2024 Mens A Singles\nClick here for 2024 Championship Schedule\n\n\nThis year’s major club championships\, A Singles\, Pairs and Fours will be played concurrently to facilitate players with other engagements or commitments\, to play games before drawn dates. These events also have strict deadlines set by SCDBA for completion as they continue on to District and State playoffs.\n\n\nIf first round byes are part of the draw\, the first two rounds will be played on the one day ie 9am and 1pm starting times. Players can avoid this by playing first round games earlier\, by mutual agreement and Championship Coordinator approval. All other rounds will be 1pm start. Players are reminded that club winners will be required to play two games in one day in District and State playoffs.\n\n\nThe schedule is based on 2023 entries\, therefore number of rounds may vary.\n\n\nWhere possible\, finals will be played concurrently\, but obviously\, double involvement and weather conditions may be preclude this. Final dates are therefore designated ‘To Be Confirmed’ (TBC).\n\n\nRound 1 games that include byes will be played at 9am in E-W direction. Round 2 games and beyond will be played at 1pm in N-S direction. Round 1 games that do not include byes will be played at 1pm in N-S direction. The band originally formed in 2013 when founding band member Steve\, a seasoned performer and multi-instrumentalist\, put together a collection of talented performers to back his unique vocal ability & style. Steve is well respected throughout the music scene from New Zealand to Australia and has been making music for decades. DESCRIPTION:Introducing\, THE FREDDYS\, debut at the Bowlo.  After playing for years in various bands in Melbourne\, Sydney and the Sunshine Coast\, bassist and singer Chris Lofven is following his passion to lead a band of like-minded musicians to perform a repertoire of favourite classic rock songs from the 50’s right through to the 90’s.  Joining Chris in The Freddys are guitarists Simon Bland and Michael Davies with Gordon Fuz on drums.  The reaction we’ve received so far is people love the choice of material we play\, it is different\, but familiar\, so say The Freddys\, and ‘It’s got a good beat\, and you can dance to it!’  So check out The Freddys when you can.
